Project Description
Santiago Bonilla

FSC-Harvard Fellow 2024-25, 2025-26
Santiago Bonilla is an artist and filmmaker who deploys images and sounds both spatially and in time. He works under analeptic forms of meaning making, contingency and certain articulations of locality. He is interested in sensorial instantiations of history, deixis and possibilities of excess in the image. His last attempts concern an etymology, a river and a plant. Prior to his doctoral studies at Harvard, he was a resident of Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains.
