Project Description
Exyl

FSC-Harvard Fellow 2024-25
Exyl is an filmmaker and educator working under the umbrella of experimental animation. They care about making work that is honest, direct, precise, clear. They have never made two films with exactly the same medium but against their best efforts every film they make seems to be a love story.
Their films have shown at internationally acclaimed festivals like Slamdance, Mammoth Lakes, Singapore International Film Festival, Encounters, San Diego Underground, Linoleum and more. They were awarded the Terri Schwartz Asian Film Award at Ann Arbor Film Festival in 2023.
They were a 2023 Ox-Bow Fellow, and are a current artist in residence at the Dirt Palace in Providence, RI.
