Untitled Street Vending Film (work-in-progress)

Courtney T. Wittekind

From morning to night, a procession of singing street vendors winds their way into the rapidly-urbanizing core of Yangon, Myanmar’s largest city, calling to the apartment blocks rising above. Set within a sprawling tangle of new construction occupied by increasingly wealthy elites, USVF explores large-scale urban change—from the ground up.
