Kathryn Abarbanel is a filmmaker and student in Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, Art Design and the Public Domain and Critical Conservation programs. She has worked broadly across the fields of dance and performance, photography, sculpture, building and furniture design (and construction). She focuses on study of the body and domestic space within film and visual culture.

Niña En Barco is a portrait of a woman navigating within the corporeal, patriarchal, and architectural structures and confines of her home, while residing simultaneously in the sensations and experiences of the present – engaging complex relationships between mother, daughter, and filmmaker.
